Giving Tuesday Update

Giving Tuesday

On Tuesday November 29th, COM Foundation participated in Giving Tuesday-a Global Day of Giving campaign. Originating in 2012, the Tuesday after every Thanksgiving individuals are encouraged to take part in philanthropy that helps support organizations and individuals in need. Our goal was to raise funds for students in need.

We surpassed our goal and raised $26,862. On behalf of the college, our students and the Foundation, we would like to thank all of those who participated in a Global Day of Giving. While we always encourage you to give throughout the year, we look forward to seeing you again November 28th, 2023.

Student Donor Luncheon 2024

This year’s speakers included Chris DeVries (COM Foundation Board of Directors, Vice President) and Adrian Castaneda (Collegiate High School student and COM Foundation multi-scholarship recipient). Adrian has received 3 different scholarships throughout his time at COM. He will graduate on May 11, 2024, with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration-Management.
